Notorious…I respect Shanahan. How can you not? He’s got two superbowl rings as a head coach and I applaud the way he is handling the Haynesworth situation. But I’ve seen the D-Mac Show for 11 years. The guy is a primadonna. Elway was a team player, and I have never liked Jay Cutler. Not to mention D-Mac I don’t believe has gone a full season without missing a game to injury in at least 3 years. Fact check it if you want, but the bottom line is he’s injury prone. And a lot of times, fans and media won’t know about the injury until he strings together a few subpar games in a row. That way he has an excuse in hand when things go south. And Donovan rarely runs anymore. The whole dual-threat thing has long past. I doubt Donovan could win a foot race with most Defensive ends nowadas. These are things that ESPN, NFL network and Fox Sports won’t get into. They are all about highlights and sound bites. But for Philly fans who have lived this forever….we know. The one good thing that helps you is that Shanahan has been able to run the ball everywhere he has been, and Donovan hits the TE alot….probably b/c it’s an easier throw to make as the TE is a bigger target.write cheap nfl jerseys

You want to know what will happen this year with D-Mac? I am in DC. My take is this. He will make the Redskins a better team because he is a leader and he seems to be a pretty decent fellow. He won’t win us the big one. But he will help the team in much more ways than he will hurt it with picks, errant throws or just a bad day once in awhile. Give this guy a running game, and you might really have something there. Philly could not get a first down on 3rd and 1 nor 4th and 1 to save themselves, remember? They passed on 3rd and 1 so many times. When they did run it in short situations, they failed miserably. The line tended to be one dimensional pass blockers. Come on people. D-Mac was skewered by those Philly fans and that is true. I know a lot of those fans. They are like wolves on a tender baby Musk Ox once they get mad at a QB. They did get mad at D-Mac and they did ride him. He deserved some of it because he got them so close without taking the prize. But the Eagle organization was not inclined to defend him and that is probably because they feared alienating the fans. Lurie played it best for his pocketbook and did not engage in opinion battles that you cannot win in that town. He let them whine and hope for one more chance. WFAN and their callers are king. cheap nfl jerseys write

The Eagles did McNabb dirty period! They got caught up in the public trend of hating McNabb. There is NO DOUBT that he had little(westbrook) to no weapons for 10 of the 11 years he was there. Yet he carried the team on his back to 5 NFC championship games. The Year he did have TO he got the team to the superbowl and was 3rd in the MVP running. He was as clutch as Elway and there is whole highlight reel to back me up. He hasn’t won the big one yet. but neither did Marino, Moon, or Kelly (all hall of famers). There is 22 player on a football team. The years the eagles came close to winning it all was because McNabbs play was so stellar. Go look at the years the eagle s came close and the years McNabb went to the pro bowl. They match up. His play was amazing those years. Kolb will be good for three reasons. 1 he is a talented player 2. he has a plethora of weapons. 3. His D is good. McNabb had these things once in his career and took the team to the big one.write by wholesale nfl jerseys

McNabb is right about Philly. They think they have great fans. I remember hearing boos for the Phillys during the playoffs the year they won it all. Philly is the example of fairweather uneducated fans. Everytime they come to Fed Ex we beat the s h it outta them bc they always try to start fights. We don’t even have fighting issues with DAL fans even though we hate them bc we both are smart enough to kno its a game and not worth an arrest and jeapordizing our jobs. But I guess thats what unemployment is for…Philly is a homeless haven and we will crush you guys twice…You have no OLINE and a pocket overpaid passer. London FLetcher is and Orakpo are going to eat you all alive..I wish it was the opener instead of Dal because it would be justice HTTR!!,wholesale nfl jerseys wirte.

This is pretty whiny, especially for McNabb. I don’t expect stuff like this from him in general. Andy Reid backed up him publicly many times. McNabb has had plenty of support on the Eagles. The truth is, when he felt like he didn’t have the offensive weapons, he’d hold a press conference and say so. This… is unprofessional. Then we get him Celek, DJack, Maclin, and Avant. What was his complaint then? They are too young. Of course, this article can make the Eagles organization look like bad guys, but the fact is that Donovan is just whining like a 5 year old to a magazine so that people will love him. It’s hilarious to see all these giants and cowboys fans coming out of the woodwork, “The eagles didn’t deserve him.” “McNabb was too good for the Eagles.” WOW what a difference a year makes. Get off your high horses and stop contradicting everything you have been saying about McNabb for years. I think stonedolphin89 has it right. He should just come out and take his frustrations out on the Eagles on game day. This is just childish.write by cheap nfl jerseys

McNabb had his time. Now its CornKolb’s time. Being an Eagles fan I am a little dissapointed how this has all ended up. I didnt think No5 was like that. Crying behind closed doors and wondering why they didnt go out to the media and say “back off our QB” The thing is… if you start big smiling from ear to ear when you throw a ball into the dirt or pat yourself on the chest mouthing the words “My Bad” you are gonna start getting heat from fans/media alike! For the last couple of years Reid backed him outwardly to the media all the time. “He’s our man” or “Donovan is our QB” was said many times at press conference when McNabb’s quallity was questioned. I am still a fan of No5 as a person, but not as a 4skin.
They also got him Westbrook and McCoy. The latter of which I think will be one of the more dynamic backs this year. And they even went out of their way to overpay Jason Peters, an above average LT who thought he was the best thing since sliced bread, just to give McNabb more time in the pocket. The team went out of their way for years to give this guy the tools to succeed and the stats would say that he did. The only thing he never got was a ring. I’d say that’s on him, not the team.write by cheap nfl jerseys

Donovan McNabb is really showing his true colors. He is a hypersensitive crybaby who feels he is entitled to everything he has. He is practically the only quarterback from his entire draft class that has had ANY success at the NFL level, and if he hadn’t gone and turned into a whiny child over this whole incident, he probably would have had his number retired as an eagle in a couple years (after he retires due to health reasons). Instead, the Eagles organization is moving on without regrets while he tries (in vain) to make himself current again by talking through the media while he oft-injured body heals. Redskins fans must be concerned about this. Meanwhile, Kolb hasn’t been stellar in the preseason but has shown flashes of brilliance and has posted an 85 and change QB rating (15 points higher than McNabbs) while completing 60% of his passes. And that 85 comes without any touchdowns. He also has the highest average yards per pass completed of any STARTING quarterback throughout the preseason (look it up). I feel bad for McNabb, but the Eagles problems are NOT at quarterback, they are on the offensive line and with a few cornerbacks.,write by wholesale nfl jerseys

blaircrew0529 Yes, Shanahan gave Albert permission to seek a trade but Washington’s asking price was too high for most teams. If Shanahan would have lowered his asking price then this whole episode would not have occurred. & Albert missed OTA’s, he was in camp on time. But if you get past the bias you have just because of the contract he signed, you would see the points I’m making. When Albert signed with Washington in the spring of ‘09, it was his play on the field that set his market value. He was being mention in the MVP running for the ‘08-’09 season. When was the last time a DT was mentioned in MVP talk? & before all this drama in D.C., when did he have any problems with Jeff Fisher or any coaches in Tennessee? Yes he had the incident when he stomped on one of your team’s O-lineman but that was it. (maybe that’s where your grudge comes from) So to say before that he was a cancer isn’t true. I’m not condoning everything Haynesworth has done but I at least understand it & understand the faults of the head coach & the front office. What the is wrong with a player wanting out of a situation he feels is not right for him?! Players have only so many years to play before there bodies give out. If players didn’t have any rights then there wouldn’t be a players union.write by cheap nfl jerseys

The Vikings are going to have to protect Brett favre better. We saw what happened in New Orleans. Then tonight they came after him. Protect him if you want to win the games! He is the greatest if he has time to throw. Brett, we are so glad that you are back! Now Vikings, please protect your great quarterback! The packers never did. They always let him get clobbered. Don’t make that mistake also!write by cheap nfl jerseys

Fantasy football is one thing, but all that really matters in the end is winning. And Palmer can definitely do that. Our running game pretty much carried our offense on its own last year, and by adding slot guys like Bryant and Shipley, as well as rookie TE Gresham, we’ve ensured that we have a lot more options on third down. Move the ball, manage the game, and win. Long bomb passes are crowd pleasers, but those alone rarely get you deep into the playoffs or to the super bowl. I’d much rather see reasonable and smart passes for fifteen to twenty yards at a time. Coupled with our already stellar running game, that would be a very legitimate super bowl threat.write by cheap nfl jerseys
